Institute for Regional Excellence CPM Program
The Metropolitan Washington Council of Government's Certified Public
Manager training program, the Institute for Regional Excellence
(IRE), is administered by the Council of Government's Human
Resources Division in conjunction with the George Washington
University's Center for Excellence in Public Leadership, which
is contracted to provide the actual instructional program. For

The Metropolitan Washington Council of Government's Certified Public Manager is currently accepting applications for the 6th Cohort of the Certified Public Manager Program until 26 May 2006. Classes will begin in August, 2006, and graduation will take place in September, 2007.
